Woolworths opened in Ashford, Middlesex in 1938. It was part of a parade of shops, but the building was more interesting looking with its curved windows on the first floor.

I don’t have much information on the store other than it traded from here for 70 years, right until the chain went bust in 2008. Today there is a Sainsbury’s Local here, and you can still see the Woolworths tiles at the side.
