Woolworths opened in Upminster in 1940. The store was built as part of a parade of shops.

    This is another store that I had the absolute pleasure of being their District Manager (1986-9). Always a great store to visit, fabulous team and lovely town.

    Used this store regularly in the early 80s.
    Always very busy.
