Woolworths opened in Ormskirk in 1953, originally a small store on Burscough Street.

Around 1962 they moved to bigger premised. The original building is a bookies now. Interestingly red like Woolworths.
6-8 Aughton Street, Ormskirk, Lancashire L39 3BR
The new store was built on the site of the former Talbot hotel.
