Woolworths opened in the Scottish town of Wishaw in 1953. I don’t have much information on the store, but it traded in this town for 55 years.

It closed in December 2008. Today there is a Homestyle store/Post Office here – look at the frontage, you can still recognise the Woolworths doors and windows.
