Woolworths opened in Bridgnorth in 1953, original a small store next to the Crown Hotel on the High Street,

It then extended in the the neighbouring building to create a large store. You can see the italicised lettering of the Woolworth here.

You can see at some point the reduced the store size again and the left side became Superdrug.

This Woolworths closed in January 2009, and today there is an Original Factory Shop in the building.
