Woolworths opened in Reigate in 1955. The store traded for 29 years, closing in 1984. This was a time when they had started closing branches that were too near to each other, in this case the Reigate store was very close to the larger Redhill Woolworths.
After Reigate Woolworths closed, the unit was empty for a decade before being taken over by Martins the Newsagent. This recently closed and today the Corzo Lounge is in the former Woolworths unit.
